Learn from the expert! As parents of special needs kids, we play an important role in advocating for our kids in IEP meetings. Martina Sholiton, founder and director of PACES(Parental Advocacy for Children in Exceptional Situations), enjoyed a long career in public education. As the former Director of Special Education in San Jose Unified School District and Assistant Superintendent in charge of Special Education in Monterey County, Martina clearly understands the difficulties parents have in knowing the special education requirements and navigating the school system.

Opening Doors PTA is delighted to have Martina share her expertise and help parents have a strong voice in IEP meetings.

RSVP TODAY! Space is limited. Workshop is free and open to public.
