Backpack Drive & Library Card Signup at East SJ Carnegie Branch Library

Did you know in the United States, an estimated 30 million people over the age of 16 do not read above the 6th grade level? To address this issue for future generations Bay Area Tutoring Association has launched www.Love4Literacy.rocks – a back 2 school back pack and library card drive campaign website.

On Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 10:00am – 2:00pm, 100 children of San Jose to obtained their own “Love 4 Literacy” by receiving 100 elementary school backpacks, 100 children’s books and 100 new library cards registrations to children of San Jose.
