May 24, 2016: This workshop series is designed to provide parents in our community wellness tips on
meditation. Research indicates that meditation may reduce stress and improve health.
A simple technique practiced for as few as 10 minutes per day can help you control stress,
decrease anxiety, improve cardiovascular health, and achieve a greater capacity for
relaxation. Research also show that when parents are stressed so are the children, which
in many cases affects the ability to perform at their academic best. While parents are in
the workshop, Bay Area Tutoring Association will provide homework,
math and literacy support. Thank you to our partners at the
