The Mulberry Coders Program at Mulberry School in Los Gatos came back in the Spring for more exciting adventures in computer science and coding!  Students from grades 3rd to 8th were taught everything in “It’s Cool to Code” and more in It’s Cool to Code 2, which was held for 90 minutes on every Monday from January 29 until May 14 after 3 PM dismissal.

It’s Cool to Code 2 expanded on its predecessor by teaching students the basics of object oriented programming using Scratch programming, and taught students the fundamentals of Javascript.  Students also learned to how debug, work collaboratively, and practice their oral presentation skills within peer groups.  Skills taught in this class will further develop logical and critical thinking abilities – perfect for the entrepreneur and programmer’s tool set!
