September’s Tutor Highlight: Sanjana G.
This September, we’re excited to introduce Sanjana Gowda, a freshman at Emerald High School who’s making waves both in and out of the classroom. Between daily swim practices with the Pleasanton Seahawks and helping run the Hip Hop Club, Girls STEM Club, and Music Club at her school, Sanjana still finds time for what she loves most—math and programming. Her dream is to become a computer scientist one day, and she’s already well on her way.
Sanjana’s love for tutoring comes from her passion for education and connection. “Tutoring is a great way to connect with students through prioritizing education, which is why I love it so much!” she shares. For her, it’s not just about teaching; it’s about learning and growing alongside the students she helps. “I am tutoring to support and understand students as they grow and improve by sharing my knowledge,” she explains.
Sanjana believes tutoring is all about creating meaningful experiences and offering support as students build confidence in their skills. Her dedication to helping others while continually learning herself is what makes her such a standout in our community.
We’re so happy to have Sanjana as part of the tutoring team, and we know she’ll continue to make an incredible impact!
The Bay Area Tutoring Association is proud to support tutors like Sanjana, who bring a deep passion for learning and teaching.
