June’s Tutor Highlight is Jasmine!

Meet this month’s Tutor Highlight, Jasmine! Jasmine is a first-generation college student, who aspires to go to medical school and is currently a senior at ASU and is set to graduate soon. “I have taken multiple biology and chemistry courses during my time in college which makes me pretty confident in tutoring students taking those classes. As a first-generation college student, college felt pretty much like a battle I had to fight on my own. I am aware of how challenging and scary college can be for someone with no support. Teaching myself study habits and how to embark on that journey all on my own was pretty stressful initially. Experiencing this, I knew I wasn’t the only one going through it, and that they were people who had it worse, so I decided to tutor. I love to be able to support and guide students in the battlefield that is college, and let them know it’s not something they have to endure alone.”

Thank you Jasmine for continuing to make a difference in the lives of students! For more Tutor Highlights like these head over to our blog to read more!
