March’s Tutor Highlight is Xuan Wu!
The student needed help with drawing a plot that I’ve not used for quite a while. After frankly admitting that I needed to recapture how to draw it, we checked two examples in the class notes carefully together. Then the student realized how to determine the range in the number line, and continued independently. I merely helped interpreting an acronym, which obviously take extra effort for new students. A little before the session ended, the student finished all and said that I helped on the key-points. That acknowledgement meant a lot to me, especially as a new tutor.

Any words of encouragement for potential volunteers:
With the inclusive culture here, we can get the community more connected and stronger, and it’s particularly precious at difficult times.
At BATA, tutors are the foundation of the Association and our greatest asset. Thank you Xuan for making a difference!
