The Santa Clara County K – 12 African Ancestry Academic Success Project provides 24+ hours of free online culture workshops and tutoring by scholarship to Bay Area African Ancestry Students (Grades 1st – 12th) of Essential Workers, Healthcare Workers, Civil Servants and Teachers. The project will provide:

  • Program places emphasis on cultural history and health empowerment activities such as virtual museum tours, art classes, and discussion workshops
  • Provides college readiness workshops and events such as Historical Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) presentations
  • In addition, online academic support opportunities also available through homework help, as well as enrichment activities for math, english, digital literacy, and code writing

DURATION: March 22, 2021 – May 7, 2021

TIMES:

Elementary School

  • MON & WED 3pm-5pm PST (6pm-8pm EST)
  • TUES & THURS 3pm-5pm PST (6pm-8pm EST)

Middle/High School (7th-12th)

  • MON & WED 5pm-7pm PST (8pm-10pm EST)
  • TUES & THURS 5pm-7pm PST (8pm-10pm EST)

**STUDENTS MAY REGISTER FOR ONLY ONE SESSION and MUST BE FROM SANTA CLARA COUNTY!**

Enrichment Activities: Cultural Freestyle Fridays 4pm-6pm PST (7pm-9pm EST)
