Learn how to create your own website! In this class, students will learn the creative process behind creating a website. Students will learn the basics of HTML and CSS, as well as coding concepts such as variables and conditional statements.
Requirements:
Excellent reading skills, you will need to read a lot in this class. Excellent math skills. Previous coding/HTML knowledge is not required. Classes will be taught on the desktop version of the websites, so it’s recommended you also be using a desktop/laptop
What it will cover:
- Students will be introduced to the design process of creating a website, event based programming using HTML and CS, and coding concepts such as variables. By the end of the class, students will be able to create their own websites.
By the end of the program, the students should:
- Be familiar with CS and HTML vocab
- Understand the design process for creating a website
