Intermediate Code Writing for Kids Description:

Starting June 13, 2020, register to help build and strengthen your child’s code writing skills with our new intermediate code writing for kids class! These six sessions are for students in grades 4 to 6th, ages 9 to 12, which will help your child learn more than just the basics of code writing. Students will further develop skills that are the foundation of any programmer’s toolset while learning how to think like a programmer. Prior experience is necessary. Limited seats are available. 1.  Do I have to bring a computer?

Yes. Since these classrooms are remote, a laptop is required for students to participate in these courses. 

2. Can we miss a session?

Each session is unique and teaches a different skill. You may register to attend one or more during the sign-up period. We ask you to sign up only for the classes you can attend. 

3.  Who are the instructors?

The instructors are college students and graduates that major in computer science, engineering, math, science, psychology, English, etc. They are also part-time teachers and professionals who work in computer programming, design animation, and technology industries.

4.     How are the classes divided?

Each class is divided into small groups based on grade and ability to ensure all students have a positive experience
