Calling all African American Young Adults Ages 16 – 24: Register for the Silicon Valley Black Youth Hackathon today!

The Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce invites S.F. Bay Area and Silicon Valley African American Young Adults Ages 16 – 24 to register for the first annual Silicon Valley Black Youth Hackathon. Whether you are a novice or experienced, this event is designed for you. With more than $8000 is cash and prizes, this exciting battle of the Bay opportunity will allow more than 150 high school, college and professional young adults to learn about the application development process, design, computer programming and networking. Participants will form teams and compete in two Chamber app challenge events. The overnight hackathon competition will be hosted at GSV Labs in Redwood City on January 30 and 31st, 2016. Award presentation will be hosted the following Saturday February 6, 2016 at Rocketfuel Inc. Redwood City.
