Mar 15, 2015: On March 2, 2015 Umpqua Bank Charitable Foundation awarded Bay Area Tutoring Association a $2,500 grant for its “Brilliant Busy Bee” kindergarten readiness program.
The goals of the Brilliant Busy Bee Kindergarten readiness program are as follows:
1. Increase correlation of life activities with current academic efforts with a series of STEM activities, hand written assignments, games and blending learning curriculum.
2. Increase student focus, classroom participation level, academic productivity and grade level proficiency.
3. Prepare student for academic rigor of Common Core State Standards.
