Structural Engineering Challenge

Are you ready for a challenge? On Saturday, July 23, engineers ages 5 and up were invited to meet our Structural Engineering Challenge.  These young engineers were challenged to build the tallest, most stable, and biggest structures using only three types of materials, all while learning the basics of structures and engineering. The event began at 3:00 PM and lasted for one hour at the Alum Rock Branch of the Dr. Roberto Cruz Library in San Jose.
