August’s Tutor Highlight: Styra W.
Meet Styra W., our August Tutor Highlight! Styra recently completed a major in Biological Sciences at Cornell University and has now moved to the Bay Area to work as a Junior Specialist at UCSF, focusing on neuroscience research. With aspirations of pursuing a doctorate, Styra is passionate about expanding knowledge and engaging in inspiring discussions.
During their time at Cornell, Styra discovered a love for teaching as a TA. Now, without an undergraduate community at UCSF, they have found a fulfilling outlet for this passion through tutoring at BATA. Styra values the opportunity to share knowledge and have meaningful conversations with students in need, continuing their commitment to education beyond the lab.
